Terms & Conditions

The terms of sale and the script licence: what you may do with a purchased script package, pricing, orders and governing law.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of wfunyugc.com and the purchase of any digital product from it. By placing an order you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

About us

This store is operated by Shenzhen Wufeng Trading Co., Ltd., registered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, with its registered address at Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. In these terms “we” and “us” mean that company; “you” means the person placing the order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. If you order on behalf of a company or production entity, you confirm you are authorised to bind that entity to these terms.

Products and descriptions

Our products are original script and development packages for vertical short-drama production, supplied as digital files. Each product page states the episode count, genre, what the package contains and its production notes.

Our products are development packages, not shooting scripts. They contain story structure, character material, episode maps and scene samples. Final episode dialogue is written by your own writing team and is not supplied. Where a listing says otherwise, the listing prevails.

Script concepts listed in our catalogue are offered for sale as development material and are sold on a non-exclusive basis. The same package may be purchased by more than one buyer. If you need exclusivity or a full assignment of rights, contact us before ordering; exclusive arrangements are handled separately and priced separately.

Licence — what you may do with a purchased script

When you buy a script package you receive a licence to use it. Copyright remains with us; you receive rights of use, not ownership of the work.

You may:

  • Read, study and use the material for your own development and evaluation.
  • Adapt it, rewrite it and change it to suit your production.
  • Produce a film, series, audio work or stage work based on it.
  • Translate it into other languages.
  • Distribute and market the finished production.

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, share, upload or redistribute the script file itself, in whole or in part, as a file, document or dataset.
  • Publish the package’s contents as a template, course, prompt set or reference library.
  • Claim authorship of the original underlying work, or register it as your own copyright.
  • Use the material in content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that sexualises minors. This prohibition is absolute and overrides every other clause in these terms.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or reproduce the catalogue.

Extended licence. Adaptation rights for sub-licensing to third producers, and any form of assignment, require the extended licence supplied with the All-Access Master Library. If you need rights beyond the list above, ask us before you order and we will quote for them.

Enforcement. Downloaded files are individually traceable to the order that generated them. Redistribution of a file is a breach of these terms and of copyright, and we may pursue it.

Pricing and currency

All prices are shown in United States dollars (USD). We sell in one currency only; your bank or card issuer applies its own exchange rate and may add a conversion fee, which we do not control and cannot refund.

We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept it, which happens when payment is confirmed and your download is made available. We may refuse an order, and will refund any payment taken, where:

  • the payment was not authorised, or appears fraudulent;
  • the order appears to be an attempt to obtain material for redistribution;
  • a pricing or listing error is obvious and material;
  • we are required to refuse it by law.

Payment

Payment is taken by our third-party payment providers at the time of order. We do not store your card details. Your order may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms, and we may run additional fraud checks before releasing a download.

Delivery

Delivery is digital and immediate. Full details, including how to recover a lost link, are in our Digital Delivery Policy. Downloads are unlimited and do not expire.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: a full refund within 14 days if the file has not been downloaded, no refund once it has, and a full refund if a file is broken, incomplete or misdescribed.

Your responsibilities

Script material is offered as creative and development material. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that a production based on it complies with the broadcast, classification and content rules of the territories where you intend to release it. We do not warrant that any particular platform will accept any particular story.

You are responsible for keeping your own backup copy of any file you download.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, script material, structure, artwork, layout and source files — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. The licence above is the whole of the rights you receive.

Acceptable use of the site

  • Do not attempt to breach, probe or overload our security or that of our providers.
  • Do not scrape, mirror or systematically extract the catalogue or its files.
  • Do not use the site for anything unlawful.

Third-party services

We use third-party providers for hosting, payment and email. Their terms apply to their part of the service. We are not responsible for the acts of independent third parties, but we will help you resolve any problem caused by one of our providers.

Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the express promises in these terms, the site and its files are provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the material will be commercially successful, that any platform will commission it, or that the site will be uninterrupted. Nothing here limits any warranty that cannot be limited by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you actually paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost production budget or lost opportunity. Nothing in this clause limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of the licence section of these terms, or from any production you create from our material.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes will be heard by the competent courts located in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China, unless the mandatory consumer law of the country in which you live gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, in which case that right is preserved.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order. We will change the “last updated” date at the top of the page.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the unenforceable part is replaced by a provision that best reflects its original purpose.
